This website provides free world-wide music theory tutoring via Skype or Zoom for music theory students in distress. Our tutors can help you with virtually all levels of theory and ear training, and are normally available evenings and weekends. (For availability, please see our calendar page.) The Journal of Music Theory Pedagogy web tutoring site was made to provide short-term tutoring to college students already enrolled in a theory course. Long-term private lessons can be scheduled by contacting individual tutors. There will be a charge for students not currently enrolled in a university.
This program is absolutely free to students, and is made possible through the support of the Journal of Music Theory Pedagogy and the Gail Boyd de Stwolinski Center for Music Theory Pedagogy at the University of Oklahoma.
